Who's the REAL 'Father' in a Catholic Family?

The Roman Catholic perversion of what a family should be was accidentally shown in an article by Knights of Columbus president Carl Anderson. "Teach Your Children Well," is an article with the typical Catholic hand-wringing warnings about the, "popular culture" of today, and how parents need to get their children to Mass, into CCD, church organizations, etc.

What is interesting is what the article does NOT say - it makes NO mention about a father's role in the household! The article boasts:

"Young Catholics who attend church with their mothers on a weekly basis were more likely to follow the teaching of the Church...Religious activity by the mother was a very important factor in the moral development of young Catholics...the mother's role is significant, especially in teaching her children to pray."

Remember, this is an article whose readership is mainly Catholic men. Satan here reinforces the norm most obviously seen in Catholic countries such as Mexico and Italy - where "religion" is viewed as "woman's work."

The whole Catholic plan for family destruction is based on cutting out the father and husband in spiritual matters, and instead substituting another "father," namely the Roman priest. A Catholic family ends up having many "fathers" over the years - men to whom the secrets of their hearts are entrusted through the confessional! As in any Catholic household, the biological father is not the real "father" of the family!

Satan knows he can control a family much better by getting the father on the sidelines of family life. Satan's very first attack on mankind was through the weaker vessel, the woman, in Genesis 3. Paul warns in 2 Timothy 3:6 of false teachers, "FOR OF THIS SORT ARE THEY WHICH CREEP INTO HOUSES, AND LEAD CAPTIVE SILLY WOMEN LADEN WITH SINS, LED AWAY WITH DIVERSE LUSTS."

This is why Rome insists on celibate priests - the "party line" about it being because Jesus was not married is strictly a smokescreen. The real reason is a married Roman priesthood would have two problems in controlling Catholic familes:

1. The priest's wife would not let him get as close to other women as he does now.

2. Catholic women would not share their hearts with a married priest as they do a celibate one.

The BIBLE is very clear on how God has designed the family. Ephesians 5:22-23 says, "WIVES, SUBMIT YOURSELVES UNTO YOUR HUSBANDS, AS UNTO THE LORD. FOR THE HUSBAND IS THE HEAD OF THE WIFE, EVEN AS CHRIST IS THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH." Ephesians 5:25 says, "HUSBANDS, LOVE YOUR WIVES, EVEN AS CHRIST ALSO LOVED THE CHURCH, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR IT."

The Roman priesthood and it's confessional perverts God's plan for the family and seeks to tear the family to shreds. May many Catholic husbands and fathers repent and confess the sin of allowing Roman priests entrance into the hearts of their wives and children, may they forsake Rome forever, and receive Christ by faith ALONE.
