Who Will Pay for the Pervert?

The Diocese of San Bernardino, California, is suing the Archdiocese of Boston for transferring pervert priest Paul Shanley to California in 1990 without informing the San Bernardino hierarchy of Shanley's previous pedophile tendencies. This was reported April 2 in 'The Boston Globe' article titled, "Calif. Diocese Sues Boston Archdiocese."

The San Bernardino diocese is being sued for an amount that may go as high as $12 million by a young man who claims Shanley molested him in the 1990's. San Bernardino priest Howard Lincoln, speaking of why the Boston archdiocese was being sued said, "We should not have to pay for Boston's mistakes."

Futhermore, they accuse, "Catholic officials in Boston of engaging in 'misrepresentations and suppression of information' as well as 'active misconduct and negligence' in hiding the background of Shanley, who has been accused of molesting boys since 1967."

'Father' Lincoln was also quoted as saying this lawsuit against the Boston archdiocese will be a, "Means (of) allowing members of the church to take responsibility for their actions."

Question - When does a Catholic diocese become concerned about the "responsibility" for perverted priests who have been protected for years? Answer - When a $12 million lawsuit can be dumped on someone else!!

May our Lord continue to expose the wicked nature of the Roman religion, may He grant many Catholics repentance from the sin of Catholicism, so that they may receive the gift of faith in Christ ALONE.
