Rome and Islam - Still Shacking Up

The Roman Catholic Church continues to deny Jesus Christ. Another example of this was found in a Dec 30 article titled, "Muslim-Catholic Dialogue on West Coast Issues Report on Spirituality," published by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Chaired by Bishop Carlos Sevilla, SJ, Yakima, Washington, Dr Muzammil Siddiqi, Director of the Islamic Society of Orange County (California), and Imam Mustafa Al-Qazwini, Director of the Islamic Education Center of Orange County, west coast Moslems and Catholics have been meeting for the past four years.

To quote from the article, the purpose of the meetings has been to provide:

"A window of opportunity to develop a better understanding of one another as individuals, as religious peoples, and as companions on the journey that leads to God."

The above statement can be read two ways:

1. If Moslems can be on a journey to God, why should we bother with Jesus Christ at all?

2. In a way, this statement is true - Moslems and Catholics are "on a journey to God" - but it's a journey to judgment!

The Koran says in Surah 3:85:

"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the hereafter he will be one of the losers."

Real believers in Jesus Christ will have nothing to do with Islam because it's very plain what the Koran teaches. But then, Catholics are not real believers in Jesus Christ.

One activity at these Moslem-Catholic meetings was, "Reading and interpreting the New Testament and the Our'an (Koran) together." Hmmmm......The Catholic bishops seem to have ignored Surah 3:61 of the Koran which says:

"Jesus, being a slave of Allah, and having no share in divinity."

The US Catholic Bishops deny Christ by saying they are "companions" of those who say Christ is "a slave of Allah," and that He is not divine.

By its fornication with Islam, Catholicism again shows itself to be a religious whore. May Christ protect bible believing Christians from the Roman harlot and all her ecumenical paramours.
