Recent Fruit from Billy Graham

All Catholics who came forward during the June 27-30 Billy Graham Mission in Cincinnati, Ohio, had their names turned back in to the Catholic Church. In an article titled, "Being Touched with the Favor of the Lord," the Archdiocese of Cincinnati newspaper, 'The Catholic Telegraph,' in its August 23 issue describes the "follow-up" for these poor souls.

With the names provided by Graham, these Catholics were invited to an August 4 "prayer service" led by Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk. Asking, "What does it mean to be saved," the article said, "Archbishop Daniel E. Pilarczyk gave a clear answer to the question." His "clear answer" was:

"To say that we are saved is to say that God loves us so much that He has found a way to plug us into His own life. Being saved, means, in part, being touched with the favor of God."

This is nothing but the deceptive, Catholic, "God loves you," teaching designed to make people feel good IN their sin, while totally neglecting mention of the absolute need for the forgiveness of sins that is in Christ ALONE. I guess Billy approves - after all, he sends people back to such teaching!

Also, the archbishop said, "The sacraments, starting with BAPTISM (emphasis mine), are encounters with the Lord." So - Billy sends people back to teachers who say the work of BAPTISM is necessary to have an initial "encounter" with the Lord. I didn't know Billy believed in works!

The article said, "A central element of the hour long service was a renewal of the baptismal commitment. The archbishop invited the congregation to come up individually and bless themselves using the holy water placed prominently in the front of the church." So - Billy sends people back to renew their Catholic baptism with "holy" water in the front of a Catholic Church - where I'm sure the Roman wafer-god was prominently displayed (and worshipped)!

Don't kid yourself, if anyone has been truly saved at a Billy Graham event, it was God working IN SPITE OF, not because of, Billy Graham. May God expose Billy Graham and his apostasy.

US Catholic Bishops Deny Christ - Continued

A committee of bishops from the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, and rabbis from the National Council of Synagogues, has been meeting in "dialogue" twice a year for over twenty years. On August 12 they published a document called, 'Reflections on Covenant and Mission,' which denied the need for Jesus Christ by saying, "Campaigns that target Jews for conversion to Christianity are no longer theologically acceptable in the Catholic Church."

One paragraph of the document says:

"Knowledge of the history of Jewish life in Christendom also causes such biblical texts as Acts 5:33-39 to read with new eyes. In that passage the Pharisee Gamaliel declares that only undertakings of divine origin can endure. If this New Testament principle is considered by Christians today to be valid for Christianity, then it must logically also hold for post-biblical Judaism. Rabbinic Judaism, which developed after the destruction of the Temple, must also be 'of God.'"

Some comments:

1. "Only undertakings of divine origin can endure." Hmmmm......I suppose Rome will sooner or later include Islam in "this New Testament principle," seeing Islam is almost 1500 years old.

2. Acts 5:33-39. As usual, the Catholic Church twists things by ignoring the context of this portion of scripture. The context is the apostles have been brought before an angry Jewish Sanhedrin for preaching Christ! Rome cleverly leaves out verse 40 which says, "AND WHEN THEY HAD CALLED THE APOSTLES, AND BEATEN THEM, THEY COMMANDED THAT THEY SHOULD NOT SPEAK IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND LET THEM GO."

I can only conclude the Catholic Church looks for guidance from meetings of those who decide to physically attack those who preach Christ, and forbids the preaching of Christ!

Keep praying God protects His children from the Roman Catholic Church, and that many (including Jews) realize the only available sacrifice for their sin is Jesus Christ.

What's Good for the Goose is NOT Good for the Gander (according to Rome)

Roman Catholic hypocrisy about immigration has been exposed in the interview of a Spanish bishop. This was reported in the July 15 Catholic 'Zenit News Agency' article titled, "Immigrants Must Respect Religion of New Country, Says Bishop."

The new bishop of Almeria, Spain, Adolfo Gonzalez, met with the local media for the first time, and was asked about immigration. Spain has for some time been receiving a large influx of Moslem immigrants from North Africa.

The article said that Gonzalez, "Emphasized, however, that immigrants must also respect the religion of those who welcome them, because, 'at times, there is the impression that one must only respect the difference of the one who arrives.'"

"Bishop Gonzalez also said that immigration must be regulated to avoid, 'creating a problem of cultural integration even more grave than immigration itself.'"

So - the Catholic Church in Spain wants to "regulate" immigration - BUT the Catholic Church in the USA continues to advocate unlimited immigration!

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops in their November 2000 landmark statement on immigration into the USA, - 'Welcoming the Stranger Among Us: Unity in Diversity,' - says, "We join with others of good will in a call for LEGALIZATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF UNDOCUMENTED PERSONS (emphasis mine)."

Its quite obvious all the Roman whining about the USA needing to be "compassionate" and to unreservedly accept untold millions of illegal Catholics is not based on any concern for the welfare of immigrants, but for the making of the USA into just another Latin American country. Rome won't be satisfied until there isn't any difference between Pennsylvania and Panama.

Pray daily that God protects our nation from such wicked and Catholic ways.

US Catholic Bishops Reject the Need for Jesus Christ

US Catholic bishops have again denied the need for the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ for the full and free forgiveness of sins. This was reported in an August 13 'Boston Globe' article titled, "Catholics Reject Evangelization of Jews."

Representatives of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, led by Cardinal William Keeler of Baltimore, in "dialogue" with an organization representing Conservative and Reform rabbis, on August 12 published a document called, "Reflections on Covenant and Mission." The document says:

"A deepening Catholic appreciation of the eternal covenant between God and the Jewish people, together with a recognition of a divinely-given mission to Jews to witness to God's faithful love, lead to a conclusion that campaigns that target Jews for conversion to Christianity are not longer theologically acceptable in the Catholic Church."

Once again, the Catholic Church goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ. The very first "campaign" that Jesus sent His disciples out on was to preach to the Jews!! Jesus' specific instruction to His disciples in Matthew 10:6 was, "BUT RATHER GO TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."

Jesus viewed Jews as, "LOST SHEEP," but the US Catholic bishops say otherwise. We have a choice - to believe Jesus, or to believe the US Catholic bishops. I'll stay with Jesus.

May the Lord grant many Catholics the grace to confess Catholicism as sin, forsake Rome forever, and receive Christ by faith ALONE. Also, may many Jews see that the only blood sacrifice for their sin is the Lamb of God, Jesus of Nazareth.

American Catholics Working Against the USA

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops continues its relentless fight to turn the USA into just another Latin American, Catholic country, by aiding and abetting illegal immigration. This was reported August 2 in the 'Catholic News Service' article, "Cross-Border Church Activists Speak Up for Those Who Cross the Border." Rome boasted:

"As soon as members of Congress return for their short fall session in September, a group of activists organized by Catholic Relief Services, the US Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the US-Mexico border dioceses will be knocking at the doors of the Capitol. They'll come from San Diego, Calif., El Paso, Texas, Tucson, Ariz., and Altar, Sonora, Mexico...to make their case...about the deadly effects of the US border policy."

With beefed-up US border patrols, illegal immigrants sometimes die from the desert heat while hiding from border authorities. So the Catholic Church, which will never do or say anything about the fundamental problem - poverty in Mexico, is instead trying to place the blame for these deaths on the US Border Patrol.

Here we see Rome continuing to trample on the rights of Americans to defend their borders by using Catholic foreign nationals to lobby Congress! The article also pontificates:

"Deaths in the border region became a dramatic problem WHEN (emphasis mine) thousands of new Border Patrol employees...effectively closed off traditional crossing points." Only the perverted thinking of Catholicism could end up placing the blame for these deaths on the US Border Patrol as it defends the USA.

The Catholic Relief Service will also be, "Setting up a small community shelter for people in transit through the border town of Altar, Sonora; recruiting volunteer lawyers; and creating a system of complaints of abuse by authorities on both sides of the border." Hmmmm......too bad they won't do as much for American children sexually molested by Catholic priests!

May bible believing Protestants daily come to the throne of grace and ask God to protect the United States from the Catholic Church, and that the Lord do to the Vatican what the Vatican wants to do to the United States.
